Compass Brand Marketing Portal
Working with the Compass In-store teams we created a print-on-demand portal for all of their printed and digital Point Of Sale, stocked items and menu boards.
The Brief.
The Compass team required a facility that provided their cafe managers with the ability to order Point of Sale, digital asset downloads and uniform items for their teams, whilst also providing the senior management team with the ability to monitor and authorise all orders.
The Approach
We worked with the Compass team to scope out the requirements for their online portal. Given the multiple sectors and categories that the client manages, this project required development of an advanced portal. This included multiple permissions, authorisations and product requirements based on the user. It also had to cater for multiple cost centres and delivery options which our system was able to easily accommodate.
Using weekly 'catch-up' meetings with the client, we developed the design for the portal to ensure it was consistent with the multiple brands, whilst making sure it was user-friendly and clear to navigate.
Over time the portal evolved to include more advanced features and elements to increase the benefits and range of uses for the client.
The Outcome.
Compass Group now have a fully functional brand portal that achieves all the objectives that were set out in the initial brief and much more.
They now have a facility that allows all members of their teams to order products tailored for their site in just a few clicks, giving them more control at a site level, as well as providing visibility and control for the management team.
A lot of work and effort went into producing the portal from every department in our team including design, development and account management. The Compass In-Store management team have received postitive feedback from their teams, who are now engaging with the portal on a regular basis.
Ultimately this platform has saved time and money for all who interact with it.
