Trusted PPE was born at the beginning of the Covid pandemic. The brief was to create and then evolve the brand and its products as 2020 progressed and its customer base widened. The brand's aim was to instil a sense of trust in its customers by providing reliable and expert advice, guidance and products at the height of the global pandemic.
A logo was created, and specific brand guidelines were drawn up, which extended to every touchpoint from Trusted socials, web content, webchat and newsletters.
Trusted PPE needed to be distinct from the hundreds of other PPE suppliers, offering inflated products and poor service, so a warm and inviting colour palette was deployed across all marketing. This humanised the brand and gave incredible cut through when it was used across a large OOH, above-the-line marketing campaign. Radio was used to target the vast majority of the population who were home-working with messaging across trusted national brands such as Smooth, Heart and Classic FM.
Trusted PPE has to date served over 60,000 customers and shipped over 29 million items of PPE across the pandemic. Trusted is rated ‘Excellent’ by over 2,000 customers on Trustpilot and has become a household name for families and businesses to access high quality and fairly priced PPE. They continue to serve hundreds of customers with guidance and support every single week. Compared to other Shopify stores that launched in the same week, Trusted PPE is in the top 1% of website traffic.
