Brand refresh and website for FilterFinder.

Based in Nottinghamshire, FilterFinder supplies over 150,000 filters each year to more than 220 countries worldwide. The team at FilterFinder came to us to refresh their branding and to build an e-commerce website with an optimised user experience.

Brand refresh.

The brief to our Design Team was to create a brand identity positioning FilterFinder as a leader in the engineering industry.

To set FilterFinder apart from its competitors, our Design Team crafted a new logo and refreshed the company’s look and feel. To ensure a consistent brand identity across all platforms, we developed a comprehensive brand guidelines document focused on making FilterFinder instantly recognisable.

Web design and build.

The brand refresh set the stage for the new website design.

The goal was to reduce the number of customer orders placed by phone and to increase the number of purchases made online. Improving the online user experience was critical to reaching that goal.

The number and complexity of FilterFinder products, as well as the multi-site fulfilment locations, posed a challenge. The original FilterFinder website was difficult to navigate, often leading visitors to call instead of buying online.

Improved user experience.

Our Digital Team reviewed the customer journey on the client’s existing website and identified where the user experience was affected by poor page layout, unclear calls to action and confusing navigation.

We mapped out the desired customer journey, taking the user from search to purchase, via account registration, in the simplest way possible.

Shopify e-commerce site.

Using a stand-alone app integrated with Shopify, our Digital Team built a new site which offers the FilterFinder team greater control over content management, multi-location stock and analytics.

We invested heavily in the product search facility to ensure accurate responses to users’ search terms, making it easy for customers to find products and offering an alternative if an exact product match was not available.

The happy client.

The new website revived the FilterFinder business, contributing towards the team being shortlisted for a Growth & Strategy Award with industry body Make UK.

The clearer navigation successfully reduced the need for customers to make contact by phone and the clear call to action buttons made it easier for visitors to register for an account.
